Job Description

The Recruiter will play a key role in supporting the growth and success of the organization by identifying, engaging, and hiring qualified candidates for a variety of roles across the organization. This individual will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand the staffing needs, create effective recruitment strategies, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience. The Recruiter will support the recruitment process from sourcing through to onboarding, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and culture.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for multiple roles across different regions, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, candidate evaluation, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Talent Sourcing: Proactively identify and source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Candidate Screening & Interviews: Conduct phone screenings and in-person or virtual interviews, assessing candidates' qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs and develop customized recruitment strategies. Provide expert guidance on interview techniques, candidate evaluation, and selection processes.
  • Employer Branding: Promote the company’s employer brand by ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Represent the organization at job fairs and networking events to attract top talent.
  • Offer Management: Extend job offers to selected candidates, ensuring clear communication of compensation, benefits, and expectations. Support hiring managers in the negotiation process when needed.
  • Onboarding Support: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive first impression of the organization.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate source effectiveness. Use data to drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes and outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws, including those specific to Puerto Rico.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a healthcare, managed care, or multi-state organization.
  • Strong experience in sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and UKG
  • Proven ability to build relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence candidates and hiring managers.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience recruiting for positions in healthcare, managed care, or insurance industries.
  • Knowledge of recruiting best practices and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment.
